Rating: 4 stars This was a really cute story. I just loved Nevada and his many cats. I thought both Nevada and Taylor made a very cute couple. The romance in this story is definitely a slow burn and if you go into this book expecting it to be highly erotic you'll be disappointed. I actually liked that the two MCs didn't jump in the sack the minute they met. It was refreshing. Also, as the title implies this story ends with a big To Be Continued. That didn't bother me either, as I was expecting it. All in all, it was a good story that I highly recommend.Product details

Snow leopards are so darn rare in fantasy let alone m/m fantasy. I really hope there will be a Part 2 soon!

Loved the premise which was well executed. Am impatiently awaiting the next or part two.
i wasnt sure about the length verses price but after i tried the sample i gave in. i loved the characters and the fluffiness mixed in with some claws and hisses. i will be buying book 2.
This is a very good book and I quite enjoyed it. There are some inconsistencies but, it's still a good read. Hopefully the author will continue this series because I would like to read more.
During the big war, scientists mixed animal and human dna. Creating beings that were sentient and looked like species cross breeds. 157 years later the ge-mi, as these hybrids are called, live as second class and even outcast members of society. Nevada is part snowy leopard. He looks like a guy w cat ears and tail and soft fur going down his back. He has a strong affinity for house cats. Hiding his tail and ears, he makes a home in one of the towns ruled by strong men or royalty. He does well until one of the wolves outs him and hyenas start blowing stuff up. A delightful yarn for any age.
The story has a solid premise, with interesting back drop, but there was so much that could have been flushed out! Then there were parts where the emotional connections simply don't feel that connecting. Half the conversations feel stilted, and stiff. Finally there are sections where the characters simply and suddenly have knowledge that they simply shouldn't possess. Ex. The cats names are suddenly known by everyone.
It was a fast read that could have been exceptional with a bit more fleshing out, and more investment into the story itself. I hadn't even realized there was a three year time jump until the MC is having a conversation with another character!
Would I recommend reading it? Sure, for a quick read if you are stuck in a doctor's office and aren't tracking a story to closely! Would I shell out the $4.00 for a quick 90 page novella again? No. Wait till this one is only a buck or two.
